Ronda Damgar, MSN, APRN, FNP-C Joins Vein Clinic of Greater Kansas City

Vein Clinic of Greater Kansas City Vein Clinic of Greater Kansas City is excited to welcome Ronda Damgar, Family Nurse Practitioner. Ronda has over 20 years of diverse health care experience that includes surgical nursing, primary care, and four years specialty experience as a Vascular Nurse Practitioner. 

A nurse practitioner is an advanced practice registered nurse who has received additional education and training in order to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients. As a nurse practitioner at the Vein Clinic of Greater Kansas City, she will work collaboratively with Dr. Barbieri at our two locations in Overland Park and Liberty in the diagnosis and management of venous disease. She will be performing minimally invasive vein procedures such as sclerotherapy treatments, and assisting Dr. Barbieri in minor office procedures.

Ronda graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Missouri Western State University in 2003 and a Master of Science in Family Health Nursing from University of Missouri – Kansas City in 2013. She is nationally certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.  She is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), Society for Vascular Nursing (SVN), and the Association of Missouri Nurse Practitioners.

“I have always had a passion for serving others and have found being in healthcare offered me the best opportunity to do that,” Ronda said. “I strive to provide high quality, compassionate care to my patients and believe it is important to spend an ample amount of time with patients to ensure they fully understand their disease process, treatment options, and preventative care measures.”

Ronda is married and has two sons and one granddaughter. She enjoys spending her time off getting together with family and friends, traveling to new destinations, riding around in their side-by-side recreational vehicle exploring the outdoors, camping, and going to sporting events especially when her kids are playing.
